Pam Kanaly, author/ speaker, was chosen as the 2015 National Mother of Achievement in Washington, DC, through the American Mothers Organization, the official sponsor of Mother’s Day. Nominated by Governor Fallin and chosen as Oklahoma Mother of Achievement, Pam serves the citizens of Oklahoma well having been named Edmond’s Woman of the Year – 2015 through the Chamber of Commerce.
Pam brims with passion in sharing the love of Christ with women. As a former national television talk-show co-host and international advocate for single mothers, Pam combines biblical insight and candid humor, always delivering a tale of hope. As co-founder of Arise Ministries, Pam pioneered the first-ever regional single mothers’ conference, Survive ‘N’ Thrive, where it has traveled to the largest churches in America. Her newest book, The Single Mom and Her Rollercoaster Emotions, gives every single mom the tools needed to thrive in emotional wellness and full-powered joy. Having appeared on the 700 Club, God Answers Prayers, and other programs along with published articles in national magazines and international sites, Pam encourages women in reaching their God-given potential.
As residents of Edmond, Oklahoma, Pam and her husband Rich share a blended family of four children; yet, her fondest title remains Grammy Pammy to seven grandchildren. Give her a white-powered donut for breakfast and chips and salsa for dinner, and you’ll find her sitting on heaven’s upper floor.
