Single moms, I wanted to send you a special Mother’s Day greeting and let you know how much you matter as a mother. We at Arise Ministries love you greatly and count it a joy to encourage you in your single mother journey. You are doing a magnificent work in your child’s life, and one day they will look back and see the sacrifices you made and honor you for them. Persevere. Stay strong. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.
Be encouraged in this verse:
2 Corinthians 9:8 – And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
I love that promise. It gives such hope. God has the power to work in our gravest areas of need in such a way that His goodness, favor, and watchful care overflow into our emotional strength, physical stamina, and spiritual wisdom effecting every good work (as a mother, an employee, a friend, etc.) In other words, never will God’s infinite resources dry up.
Taken from my new book for single moms to be released early 2014.
Will there be enough to take care of my needs tomorrow? Is it possible that my enormous desires will drain the Father’s storehouse? God, just how vast is your supply? A tiny fish pondered the same fretful thoughts after filling its little tummy with multiple gulps of water, “God, will there be enough water to quench my thirst tomorrow?” With a chuckle God responded, “Drink away, my precious fish. My ocean is sufficient for you.”
Single mom, never will God’s resources run dry. His provisions precede our needs. We can rest in His care.
Love you bunches and thinking of you this Mother’s Day!
Hugs to you,
Pam – Shelley – and the Arise Staff
